Best prepay cellphone company?

Scarpozzi

As some of you may know....I've not had a cellphone for a little over a year now. (I roughly carried one for 9 years and am glad to be rid of it) However, I'm getting ready to make a trip next month and am needing to have a line in the car while I travel to be reached by work and family. So I'm basically only wanting the phone for a month or two. What's the best company? Does anyone have a prepaid that could give me an idea of what charges I'll get hit with? I've considered Tracphone, but don't know of too many others without going through Verizon or TMobile. What should I look for? Thanks,

I used Virgin mobile about 3 years ago and they were pretty good. They used Sprints network so their coverage maps should be the same. They also have either a monthly rate or per a minute rate so you can choose was works best for you.

alltel isn't bad, really. all she calls is mobile to mobile, so for 75 cents a day, its a great deal. comes to like 24 dollars a month for free calls

Alltel really doesn't have much of a presence in Tennessee, though...

(contracting for Alltel atm)
