My power supply just went south for the winter and its time to replace it.

Whats the best brand and model of power supply out there today?

Merry Christmas

PC Power Turbo Cool are some of the best made, high performance and quality, most people skimp on the power supply and I know from experience that it does make quit a bit of difference in the stability of your system especially when OC/ing.
You need a good power supply that will maintane a constant voltage surge,
I have found going from an Antec or Sparkle to a PC Turbo cool my oc/went at least 200mz higher in all cases.
Don't skimp on a cheap one or you'll be asking for trouble.

Those are all excellent power supplies. The clear best is of course the PC Power and Cooling models, but they carry a hefty price tag. I would recommend Antec because they are prices right and are of very high quality.

billyjak, while PCP&C has good supplies, the picture they show in your link compares their 450W supply to a competitor's 250W supply.

I will have a 420watt Top Power here monday. It is approved to 1900+ just like all the aformentioned ones..

I will tell you how good it is tommarow

Don't know if you're looking for a case too, but if you are, I'd suggest an Antec 635 which comes with a 350W dual-fan P/S (P-4 ready, and looking at your rig, it should be no problem with the T-Bird. Plus the case has excellent cooling and expansion. I got mine from ems for about 80.00 complete.

for best power supply--go with zippymacs or pcpowercooling lines--they are pricey but they are the best as you wanted.

The Enermax EG301P-VB (300W). I was really surprised with these. They work better than ANY other PS I have tried including Sparkle 300W's, and an Enermax 430W!!!
