Hello,

I am shopping for a portable device to listen to MP3's and maybe CD's and also possibly the FM stations. Please speak from first hand knowledge about what products out there are good. I think iPods are great, but is the IRiver 120 better? It certainly is cheaper... also, are Walkmans good? I had a regular non-mp3 walkman and it was good.. except it didn't play backup cd's that well. List as many pro's as u can, like weight, LCD, battery-life, durability, accessories, and of course price. List any other features that u deem are necessary. Hope this post generates lots of replies.

so when I transfer an MP3 onto the ipod it leaves it in .mp3 format and can I transfer the .mp3 off of the ipod onto another computer without the structure of the .mp3 being affected? Is this correct?
