Best Plexi-glass glue...

I'm looking for the best plexiglass glue available on the internet. I heard weld-on was good, but i need something that won't fog the glass up and actually bonds the plastic together so it is just as strong as it was before. I need to be able to order this over the internet. Thanks.

I thought Acetone will fuse plexiglass. That's what we used to use when we laminated it, then we would progressivly wet sand the edges and finally polish it. 🙂

Liquid Nail. Get a tube at the hardware for store or search online. For a couple bucks it glues/seals anything you'd ever want to glue or seal and its clear when spread flat so it should do the job easily.

nope..all wrong 😀

jb weld. go to walmart. i have used it one plexi and duro tuff...you CANNOT break the seal. (really hard too anyway)

The JB Weld will work fine, but is grey/black in color. If the plexiglass is clear, look for any clear epoxy. Use the 24 hour cure stuff, the fast cure is not as strong.

There is a specific product made to glue Plexi together. I know 3M makes some. Look up your local acrylic/plexiglas location. They will be able to get you what you need. If you are looking to make an enclosure (and have it look good) then you will want to get some of this stuff.

There were two different kinds, a thicker gel-like that would be used for glueing sheet to sheet and then a thinner almost 'model glue' type that was used for bonding edges.

Hope this helps.
