Ok, I'm currently in a rut trying to find good, reliable places to pick up some computer parts from. I need to piece together two new systems, and I'm not really sure where to start.

The last system I ordered I got (most of it) through Onvia. Had some problems with them, though. They didn't ship my processor for whatever reason, nor did they ship my memory, which they claimed was out of stock. Of course, they didn't bother letting me know about this either, so a week after ordering I have a system with no processor or memory.

After some hooting and hollaring on my end, they overnighted the processor, and I just ordered the memory from Outpost.com. I ended up getting two processors overnighted, so still waiting on them to pick up this extra one.

I love Outpost, but their selection is limited and prices are high on certain components. Any idea of any similar places to order from? Onvia can't keep track of inventory, put out an RMA, or inform you when/if your product will not be shipped. These things are more important to me than saving a couple bucks.

Mwave.com

Huge selection, excellent prices, good support, fair shipping charges, and never a back order unless stated.

Yea, I have had good luck with Mwave.com. The only draw back is when I get ground shipping. They are in Cali and I am in Texas and it usually takes a couple of days.

mwave all the way. i've built three systems with them. my biggest complaint is that they didn't have my motherboard when i wanted it so i had to order from somewhere else and get gouged. the shipping does take forever by ups ground, but i blame that on lenaxa kansas, it always spend two days there before they send it on to missouri.
