Best places for fishing trout in CA

From my personal experiences the best places to fish trout are the Sierra Nevadas and the other side of them in Bishop. Does anyone know of any other places that are a good place to fish trout in CA?

I have enjoyed fishing at June Lake for many years. You can pull out trout up to five pounds and usually get your limit a couple times a day.

The BEST place is Edison Lake. Basically you take Kaiser Pass Road up into the middle of nowhere...it is a narrow 1-car road and quite bumpy. It's not far from the main road but takes a long time because you really can't go faster than 25MPH the whole way. Best trout I've ever had there...it's about 9,000 in elevation and the trout at that elevation kick ass! Highly recommended. Wishon Reservoir and Courtright Reservoir are also great places.

indeed, indeed my friend. i have heard the stories of trophy trout at Edison. But then i have seen some 20" in plus trout coming out of the Eastern side of Sierras by Bishop. Those 2 places have to be the best in central valley.
