I need to submit a few websites i created, but where is the best place to do that, and the cheapest too.

Every search engine worth using integrates the Open Directory Project's database into their results. Pick a correct subcategory to get listed under and being listed on dmoz.org will help your website immensely.

Actually... I submitted it to dmoz.org and now I can search virtually anywhere and see my site.
