Best place to register domain?

ANy good deals now? Only place I know of is godaddy. ~10 yr. about the average or do some places have better proces if you do 2 yrs, etc?

godaddy is fine I guess, but their interface is way too needlessly complicated.

I use tosdomains.net . It's usually a $1 more, but the interface is simple and uncomplicated. Works fine for me.

With my experience with 1and1, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I finally had to transfer to GoDaddy after they kept charging me for domains I know longer owned. I had bought 3 domains about 4 years ago but cancelled 2 after a year. Everytime the one domain I kept was due for renewal, they charged me for all 3 domains. This happened 3 times and the 3rd one was the last straw for me. I can't fault their CS (although their phone line is a bit sketchy as I would get hung up on while waiting) since they refunded my money without an issue.

Uh Namecheap. Years ago it was GoDaddy, but Namecheap offers what GoDaddy can give you... AND MORE. 1and1 is a pathetic excuse for a webhost/domain registrar.

godaddy's portal is super complicated. namecheap is much better.
