Best Place to put exhaust fan

I was thinking to put it in the fan in the top since heat rises. Or is the back the best place for an exaust fan? I feel like carving my case up, so any suggestions will be taken seriously, thanks!

I currently have 3 casefans in my comp, 2 are blowing directly on the vid card and 1 is an exaust fan exclusivly for the processor heatsink, it has a little "tunnel" to blow out of the case.

Also, where can i download something to tell me the temperature of my case? I have a dell Dimenion 8200 with intel mobo

The Dell's tunnel system is awful. But since you can't OC a Dell, I guess it is fine.

Oh yea, I 2nd the MBM5 program, that is what you need to monitor basically everything.

Intake low front, exhaust high rear of the case is the best in a tower configuration - right where the PSU exhaust normally is. You could add a circulator fan (neither intake or exhaust) inside the case somewhere to make sure there are no dead spots in the flow (my mind's eye pictures a small oscillating fan)...
