I went by CVS yesterday and it charged $.19 per 1X6 glossy or matted print.

Is it a good price and is it a good place to print out pics from the digital camera? Any other places/prices? TIA.

P.S. Won't buy a color printer and we don't have Costco around but a Sams club.

Sams club, not sure of the price but I believe the mail in service is the cheapest.

Walgreens
done in < 1hr and there is a Walgreen's EVERYWHERE.
$.19 per print is pretty much the going rate, and unless your printing 1000 pictures I wouldn't worry too much over a few pennies difference on your total bill.

ever tried ordering online? shutterfly and snapfish are good for this, and they are usually running specials or giving away free prints.

I've never used them but my sister and cousin swear by both of those, and from the pics I've seen they do a good job.

They're all about the same - Walgreens, CVS, Costco/Sams. (Think Costco/Sams is slightly cheaper) The last set of pics I had done at WG/CVS - the color was a little bit too yellow, but didn't notice before I left the store. Make sure you check your pictures before you leave, but all in all I've had good experience printing pictures there.

Costco online, very convenient. Upload photos, print. Pick them up a few hours later.

I've found sam's club and costco better quality than the drug stores. The colors are more accurate in my experience. Personally i always use costco...but sam's is always my second choice.

Costco for me. Incredibly cheap (especially for large prints); I e-mail them the photos and they have them ready for me in an hour.
