What's a reliable place you'd recommend ordering flowers from, to be sent to someone in another state?
I've looked at 1800flowers.com. Can you customize an arrangement, or only order the arrangements they show online? For example, I want to send a birthday one. Do I have to pick the birthday ones they show, or since I seemed to like their regular arrangements better, can I pick one of them and add birthday card and stringers, etc. to it?

Also, anyone know how to post a link to an arrangement from 1800flowers? The URL has a session #, but it won't work when going to that link later, with or without the session #.

Last, where's a good place to order choclate for a gift? I don't really have to have it delivered to someone else.

I used to use Proflowers all the time, but the quality has gone downhill, and last Valentine's Day my girlfriend actually received roses intended for some stripper in Dallas. Proflowers attitude was piss poor, and it took a great deal of complaining on my part for them to even offer to discount them.

Any others then? How about 1800flowers.com or flora2000.com?
One thing I noticed about proflowers is they don't show you what the arrangment looks like in the regular vase or the vase at all, only the upgraded vase.

Also if her B'day is this Thr (20th), will it make it a state away if ordered today? Not sure how delivery works.

flora2000 is expensive, and from the last comment about Proflowers, I'll probably use 1800flowers.

But...has anyone used www.ascflowers.com (a Teleflora company). I see I can get 20% off with my USAA account, though w/ the discount it seems about like 1800flowers price. Maybe nicer though.

You might try Googling local flower shops in her county. That's what I do if I need to send flowers, gifts, etc. in another state.
