Best place to get local sports tickets online with low/no fees?

I've started looking for places to get minor league baseball tickets, hockey tickets, soccer tickets and other event tickets at a good price. Several times I've thought that I found a decent website, but then during the checkout process, I found that they add on 'facility fees', 'delivery fees' and such, to the point where the actual cost for the tickets ends up being twice what the listed price was...

Anyway, I was wondering if some of you more experienced folks might be able to recommend a website that you use to buy tickets with no or low fees added on? Thanks in advance!

There are quite a few halfway-decent ticket brokers online and they mostly appear to be about the same when things go smoothly.

Problem is that if you have an issue at your event the vast majority of them offer zero or close to it in the way of real-time help and in most cases the venue will want nothing to do with tickets they didn't sell leaving you SOL.

About the ONLY large broker I've had consistent good luck with personally (INCLUDING when there was a problem on game-night!) is Stubhub.

So my suggestion is that with ANY ticket broker you find out IN ADVANCE if they actually have any meaningful after-hours customer service at all. Pay no attention to outlandish claims on the website, try contacting them yourself.

I would suggest avoiding a company called SeatGeek based on personal experience. Those folks are NOT to be trusted.

There's usually a guy or two hanging out in the back alley.
I know this is all innuendo, but true story. I decided to go to a concert once and didn't have tickets. I called up a friend of mine and we drove a hundred miles to the venue. We stopped in a parking lot by a gas station where a bunch of guys were selling tickets outside of Nashville. We ended up talking them down to $70 for the pair of tickets from $100. (Lawn seats were $35 @ cost and the show was like an hour away)

We didn't even ask where the seats were... We started driving away and realized that one of them said "handicapped" and the other one said "companion". Our seats were right behind the gold section, 30 ft from the beer truck, and they brought us folding chairs to sit in. Other people in the section were also, not handicapped. Was a sold out show and the venue sold every available seat they could.
