Hey can anyone give me some suggestions on the best place to get rounded cables? I'll need blue ones. I am using a floppy, one HD, and two opticals. The case I'm using is this Chieftec Case

I honestly don't even know what size I need so if you can tell me that as well I'd greatly appreciate it :)

Thanks guys!

I use a 10" single floppy device, 18" dual device cables for the 3.5" bays and 24" dual device cables for the 5.25" bays. This gives me enough room to tuck them out of the way as well.

This would cost $5.45 plus about $6 shipping at SVC right now. Check out their cable blowout.

Fry's had 20inch for $5.99 last week. I don't know if that's a good deal. But hey it's B&M!

I usually buy my small items at bestbyte, since they have low prices and 5 bucks flat total shipping on all small items. But it looks like the site is down right now...

I recently read a review of Cobra rounded cables and they compared them to standard IDE ribbon and SVC cables. By their tests, SVC cables lagged behind. I would buy spend a couple of bucks more just because the price difference is not that big.

I got mine from Compusa [PCToys] becuase I wanted them now:)

hey, make sure to remember to buy a "dual" channel cable for 2 ide devices. I kicked myself once for only ordering single cables by mistake

Depends on where you put your drives, but you may want to get the longer IDE cables just in case. I can't remember offhand how long I got. I got the 10" floppy cable and it wasn't long enough for me. It all depends on where your ide/floppy connections are on the motherboard.
