Trying to find the best price on an HD 6950 but not finding much of interest right now.

NewEgg's options are generally over-priced and often have a bunch of shipping tacked on.
Amazon doesn't have much in stock right now.
Nothing interesting at MicroCenter.
TigerDirect isn't much better than NewEgg at the moment.

Any other reliable e-tailers to keep an eye on for a good deal?

Thanks. Yeah, the shipping kills it. It basically takes back the entire "$10 off". Typical NewEgg.

I got mine from Microcenter for the 244 Newegg price, with tax of course. I support the local economy though and wanted it right away so I just look at it as a right away tax lol. Plus I still get the rebate.

Btw, you can use camelcamelcamel to search Amazon price histories for some models.
http://www.amazon.com/HIS-Eyefinity-...dp/B004JMZXLQ/ is currently the best deal available there.

For $255 or so you can get the HIS, Sapphire or MSI HD6950 2GB reference versions on the EGG. Any of those will unlock into a 6970. The 6950 1GB also doesn't make a lot of sense in light of the fact that you can get a similar performing HD5870 for $190.

Alternatively, if you are looking for an NV card, the GTX 560 by Galaxy for $200 is hard to beat. The Galaxy 560 card got up to 1000mhz at HardOCP. Again, this card is cheaper than the 6950 1GB and will overclock well.

I do not see any 2GB 6950s on NewEgg for less than $265, plus another $8 shipping. $273 =

Thanks, interesting info.

I got the same card except mine is the XXX version for $209 a couple weeks ago. That deal has died.

I did find this ti560 for $200 that you might be interested in: http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...c&promoid=1317

It also comes with Just Cause 2 & Mafia 2 Coupon for Digital Download *NVIDIA Promo Only*

If you click the link and do not see the deal, you will have to go to the main page and select the sale and go in manually.
