I'm looking for a place where i can get a personal loan without any credit history or bad credit.Already tried the local bank & they said since i don't have any credit history i'll need a co-signer but that i don't have.I also tried lenderstree but they wasnt able to find any lenders to fit my needs.I'm after a pretty nice amount loan & do have a job to back me up on how i can pay off.

All the help needed guys & thanks in advance. My car just got ##$# & need $$$ for a new one.

Got a co-signer who is a home owner with ok credit not the best.

Where should i go now ?

Its not gonna work, you will not find anyone to loan you money unless its at a high interest rate 25-30%.... You have to start out small with a secured loan to build credit. It will take at least a year to get enough credit established to start getting large loans. Your only ways now are high HIGH interest or co-signer which will still land you an above average interest rate.

Savings is always a good thing to have for situations like this. Having an established bank account with a large checking account that keeps growing and a largly growing savings account will help alot when getting a loan from the bank.

There is usually a guy at a table in the back of your local downtown pool hall that can help you out.

If your friend has:

No credit history
No collateral (car title, savings/CD/stock, etc.)
No available co-signers
No problems with paying 20-35% APR

Then I would recommend a finance company who will lend to just about anyone with a job.

One finance company I have used is American General, have your friend contact them at:

NEW ORLEANS-CARROLLTON
3808 DUBLIN ST
NEW ORLEANS, LA 70118-4792
Phone: (504) 486-6525
Fax: (504) 488-4503

Thanks for the suggestions...ill let her know. As far as i know, she doesn't have enough credit history to get a loan without a cosigner, and she needone to help pay for school, so this might be just what she was lookin for.

Why not a student loan?

She has a stafford loan, but it's not enough to cover tuition/books/housing, and her parents' EFC is somehow HIGHER than the estimated cost of attendance. On top of all that, they won't cosign for any type of loan, but they listed her as a dependent on their taxes, so she's kinda in a bad situation financially...

That's pure BS, out of curiosity would you PM me the AGF phone number for that office and how much was the loan for? I will not mention you in my conversation. I've dealt with the morons at AGF before.

It's not necessary for me to call after I saw the amount you're going to borrow.

Anything over $3k from AGF will definitely require collateral (car, truck, boat, home, etc.)

Good luck!
