Best place to find xbox core bundle (no games)

I found one site that offered the core bundle without games for $320, but it didn't have decent payment options. Anyone know of somewhere else to get the core bundle without games for around that price?

(I live in a rural area, so the Wal-Mart 30 miles away won't get sold out too fast. But I think Wal-Mart is selling $600-800 versions, and I don't want to pay that much. Is Best-Buy going to have the $300 version?)

I just checked the BestBuy website, and it looks like they offer the $300 version (hopefully the price will stay the same :( ).

I'm not too concerned about getting my xbox right away, so I can wait awhile for new shipments to come in.

ugh.. i cant understand why anyone would buy the 300 dollar version.. care to share?

just a memory card alone is 40 dollars. might as well get the damn hard drive.

The only people I see buying the 300 dollar version are parents that dont know any better and want to buy their kid a nice gift.

I don't want the hard drive (I won't be storing music or anything on it), and I don't need the headset, wireless controller or HD cable. Now I can save $60 to buy COD2 :)

wireless controller is not that big of a bonus. it does nothing for me, except makes me plan on how im going to keep it charged.

but the component cables and HD were a must for me. the dvd remote is kinda nice too.

What about game saves, or backwards compatibility?

Granted, if your budget demands that you get a Core, then I cannot blame you one bit... A Core system is better than NO system! :)
