Best place to check your credit score?

I saw that site..
You need to cancel membership otherwise you'll get charged for that. Are there any sites that doesn't have that?
Otherwise I'll just go with that.

those places won't give you your credit score, they will only give you your credit report. You will have to pay to find out your credit score. You can walk into a car dealership and tell them that you're interested in buying a car and then they will run your credit and tell you your score.

The best TRUE score is myfico.com, the Credit reporting agencys use what is usually called a FACO score, Fake score, it can be close to the real score, but its rarely right.

That's a no no, it will count as a credit inquiry and lowers your credit score I think.

correct. will lower it up to 10 points for a hard inquiry (which is what that and applying for a credit card and getting rejected does)

On this page there is a link to Annual Credit Report dot Com.

You usually have to pay ~5-10$ for the actual "score" from each of the three bureaus.

Just a reminder, as I said before, thoose are not real FICO scores. It is a different score then what credit companies use. MyFico.com is owned by the company that created the FICO system, and give a true score that the majority of creditors use.

MyFico.com is awesome and don't forget they have COUPON CODES!

You can usually save 15 - 40% using a coupon code.

Is there any way to take a haphazard guess at your score?

My status:

19 years old:

I've had 1 card for 10 months, close to maxed it out each month, all balances paid in full on time, then I cancelled due to its low limit and they didn't give me a raise.

Applied for 2 more cards around this time which I have successfully paid on time. I suppose it was a mistake applying for the capital one visa, but I did it before I got my citi dividend MC, which I use almost exclusively now. Should I cancel the visa? Charge a few bucks to it each month?

I realize that maxing out a card, and applying for 3 cards in 10 months is probably bad for the score.
