Every site I look at looks like it was designed by a retarded 3 year old on crack. They aren't clear as to what you're buying. Ebay is pretty much narrow only as well.

I bought both of my sets from eBay. I picked up a wide and a bridge over a year ago. Good stuff.

Why use kem?

Bicylcle playing cards @ walmart = $2 for 2packs.

we've been using them in our hold'em games and it works great. (once a week for 2 yrs now.)

it's not about the cards, it's about the 11.5g chips in the aluminum case.

because they don't bend, easy to shuffle and can be cleaned. A deck can easily last over 1 year

lol.. what part of we've been using bikecycle playing cards for once a week for 2 years did you not understoiod?

regular quality playing cards can be easily shuffled as well.

the only advantage of kem's is that you can wash them in the washing machine.

but at like 10x the cost, i'll stick to bickecyle/bee cards

nah.. it's all about what u see on tv. the chips, the table, etc. it's the environment that makes it more enjoyable.

playing cards all look alike.

11.5g chips look alot better than the plastic ones. and a real poker table looks better than the wooden kitchen table.

yes, we play on a real poker table too

The hold 'em tourney's you see on TV traditionally use the bridge size cards, and have for as long as I know. If you want to be techinical about your home games, use the bridge. Personally, I prefer the wide since that's what I've always used when playing cards. I like the feel. I don't mind playing with the bridge, but I prefer wide.

It's all about preference. KEM decks are usually around $20-30 per, so it can be an expensive experiment to figure out which type you'll like best. However, you're already set on the wides, so I would just go with those. You won't be disappointed.

Oh, and to answer your question, the bridge size cards are more narrow than the wide. I'm sure you knew that, but I really didn't anwer your question in my reply.
