I know probably 15 people that have bought tires and rims from the Tire Rack, myself inclusive. No problems.

Biggest thing is to make sure you get the right offset and bolt pattern for your car. Also best to use hubcentric wheels if your car is hubcentric, or lugcentric if car is lugcentric. Adapter rings aren't the greatest.
