That's right, the dog chewed up our DVD remote. It's a Philips DVD player btw. We're using one of those cheezy All-in-1 remotes, but they suck for DVD players. Can't access all the functions etc.

Any ideas? I haven't hit up google or ebay yet, but that's my next move. I thought I'd give ATOT's vast knowledge base a try first.

thanks in advance.

I picked up a touch screen all in one remote... not a cheapy, and I love it... a lot of remotes can be programmed by using other remotes, but that won't help you much since yours is shot.

Train your dog.

puppies will be puppies :D

My puppy chews on everything, but not the remote yet. (I think he knows where to draw the line). As for your original question I love the remote that came with my kenwood 7070 receiver have it programmed for everything. I believe eCost had a good deal on a sony one a week ago.

Check my LINK?
and what a great link that was....but no cigar (but THANKS for the link). I'll call philips next week and see just how much a replacement one would be. if my chewed up one was the least bit operational, i could program my denon receiver's remote.
