Best place to buy replacement chipset fan?

I bought a complete system, and the chipset fan fried and fell off during transport. I was wondering which is the best place to get a replacement? Keep in mind, this is for a DFI nF4 Ultra D so I don't want to spend too much 🙂

Go to Microcenter and buy a 40,50 or 60mm fan and zip ties.

😛 not a bad idea but I would rather have a complete solution. I remember buying a chipset fan from SVC and it's around the price of a 40mm fan at Microcenter.

I just want to know if there's any other places? 🙂

edit: 6.99 shipped for a fanless Zalman... any other places?

well it's not the best price but the EVERCOOL VC-RE is a drop in replament for the DFI's chipset fan I used this on all my DFI 939 NF4 boards back in the day, generally you can find it cheaper but shipping kills it most places but thats the model you should look for.

I remember those, as I had them on several DFI nF4s, but that's too much money for a 3-4 year old motherboard 🙁

The downside to the VC-RE is that the pins would bend or pinch together, arugh

I have an original NF 4 SLI-DR board that has had a working VC-RE on it since I put it together in April of 2005, I've replaced the fan in the VC-RE once since i put the system into service, It's my Mom's office PC now and is still in service, the motherboard is the oldest part of that system.
