Best Place to buy Power Supply Fan

looking for an AD1212US-A71GL or one that will replace it. a few years back i bought a fan and got quick service and had no problem navigating their web site but darn if i can find my paper work on it. so looking to the pros.

120mm x 25mm

any help is appreciated.

AFAIK, from my limited experience modding PSUs years ago, you can use any size/pin-compatible fan you want.

I remember putting Panaflo 80mm units inside noisy Antec PSUs and they worked fine. You will obviously void the warranty, and you have to take extreme caution when working inside a PSU because components can still carry a charge even after the unit is powered off.

Open up the PSU and see what kind of header the fan has. Then go to Newegg and find a fan you want with in the same size with the same header or wiring setup. If the current fan's connector is soldered into the PSU's circuit board, it's very easy to splice fan wires from the new fan onto the old connector.

no issue on warranty, its a Cooler Master and I already have the fan out of the PS, just looking for a good supplier to buy from.

Looks like a pretty bog standard 2 pin fan.

~100CFM, ~40dB.
It doesn't look like NE carries them, but you can buy them online or look for a NE replacement.

If you're willing to accept a lower amount of air through it, you could pick up one of these for free after rebate:

If not, something like this Scythe would give you a little more air and be a little quieter.

Both are 3pin, but will plug into a 2 pin header without issue.

Thanks for the help, just need to poke around. Irks me I can't find my invoice from a company who had some nice replacements at a good cost and quick shipping.
