Gotta buy some razors soon and I'm tired of getting raped @ the cash register in B&M stores.

I've seen the eBay auctions, but I'm not much one for having to spend $40 on a 32-pack to get a good deal.

I've found this using froogle:

Anyone hear of this place before? No reseller ratings

Anyone have any other suggestions? I just use the regular Mach 3, not the super-turbo-NOS one or anything

EDIT I did find this though, LOL link

Sweet! No Costco here, but hopefully Sam's is priced similarly. That's cheaper than eBay's prices for the regular Mach3's; thanks for the heads up

If you use two strokes can save a bundle by buying Good News razors instead. Her is how the math works out:

Mach III: 3 blades x 2 strokes equals 6 blade passes

GoodNews: 2 blades x 3 strokes equals 6 blade passes

So by using the Good News razor you could get the same shave as with the Mach III. The trade off is that you would need to use 50% more strokes but you would save more half off the price. To really get a good comparison though you would need to count the total strokes needed for a complet shave and then factor in the value of your time to determine if the monetary savings justifies the time cost.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, quit getting sucked into their marketing hype, and switch to something more reasonable!

That's also a decent suggestion. I switched to Schick Extreme III which are half the price. They do cut me slightly more than the Turbo but the shave is just as close.

Edit: Figured out the actual razor I use.

Do they have 16-packs? Someone mentioned 32-packs for like $28 something, I'd prefer something smaller. Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's not a 32 pack, I remember noticing that they were more than $1 a blade. Might be a better deal if they have a coupon for it, but otherwise not better than eBay.

OP, if you want to get a good deal on them, you're probably going to have to buy in bulk. It's not like your hair is going to stop growing, you'll use them all eventually.

I've bought razor blades from otcwholesale. Crest Whitestrips too. No complaints. They send out an email coupon once in awhile.

About the same price, but they last 10 times longer...

I'm on blade number 2 of a 4-pack I bought last August :Q
