Best Place to Buy International SIM Cards?

My wife is heading out to Brazil in a couple months, and I need to hunt down a SIM card so that she can call me in a pinch.

I've been looking online for a source of prepaid SIM cards, but there are a lot of folks selling them, and I'm not sure who's got the best deals. "Low" international call rates would be the primary objective here, as I don't think she's going to stray far from her hotel, but some local call time would be good, so she can call the hotel if she gets lost or in trouble.

Any suggestions? We don't have an actual GSM provider - it's just an unlocked GSM phone. We use Sprint for our domestic calling.
