D&D dice in local stores cost about $8-15, and we're in the market for about 3 or 4 more sets. Can anyone recommend a reputable place online with cheaper prices?

$22.99, phew!

Thanks for the link though, I'll browse around. Maybe there's a "clearance" section somewhere. :)

do you really not have a dicebin at your local hobby shop? usually its $1 a die around here and you don't have to buy a set.

might also want to consider ebay.

Nope no dicebins at any local hobby shop I've seen. :(

Go ebay, craigslist, classifieds, etc. to save some bucks. No idea what the market is like for this, but I can't imagine people finally growing out of the games and wanting to get rid of the dice.

I bought an entire set for $5. The set included six d6's, four d10's, one d4, one d8, and one d20. They were even had a marblized satin finish (jade green) and came in a light blue felt dice bag.

You guys spend way too freaking much money.

Tried craigslist, the only dice selling come with Poker sets (?). Will poke around on eBay, but from what I've seen the prices are pretty much the same as store prices, plus shipping. :(

If you look around you'll see plenty of sets for under $7. I really don't know why you just picked out one of the most expensive sets on the site and judged the whole site to be expensive. Spend 5 mintues actually browsing the site and you'll come up with plenty of nice inexpensive sets.

For example, take a look in the Transparent, Speckled, Pearl, Marble, and Glitter sections where they range from $4 to $7.50 in price.

for dwarven stones, thats actually pretty cheap, I've seen them as high as $100. They are all special material dice.
