Where is the best place to find the biggest selection and best prices for fans?

Oh and another question, is it better to have more exhaust or intake for your case?

#3: Which fan controllers would you recommend?

-Got fans?

SVC, FrozenCPU, Directron, Sidewindercomputers are all very good...I've shopped at SVC and FrozenCPU before with no issues at all

I like jabtech.com in addition to those mentioned. Personally I like the nexus analog fan controllers but I think silverstone has some good lcd ones if you're into that. I believe If you have more than two fans it is better to have more exhuast. How many fans do you have? If you have three, you can do this: 1 front intake, 1 rear exhaust, 1 top exhaust. If you have four you can add a side exhaust near the video card on the side panel.

I buy from Performance-PCs, but they're a bit expensive, IMO.

Also from Petrastechshop [.com], they sell SD 38's for 11 dollars a piece.

Jab-tech is also a great shop--they work weekends, too ;)

Edit:

Also, the Sunbeam Rheobus is nice--ramps up a bit too quickly, IMO, also the LEDs get WAY too bright. I'm most likely going to stick a resistor in there....

Besides the ones mentioned, try: sidewindercomputers.com, thermalfx.com or xoxide.com. If you can use fans in quantity 10 and up, good deals can be had on newegg too. jab-tech is one of my favorite resellers from those mentioned above. Their deal on yate loons mentioned above is probably the best deal going right now - particularly if you can use 3 or more of them. SVC is another of my favorite places.

And here's a couple potential sources of good fans at low bucks because they are odd-lot electronics surplus dealers. Sometimes their fans either have no connector or a non-PC standard one, so you'd have to be willing to roll your own connector on occasion: bgmicro.com and allelectronics.com .

Nice suggestions from Zepper above, but worth mentioning that Xoxide has (or had, I haven't shopped their since) outrageous shipping costs.

nealh, give the uber-bright 5mm LEDs a couple coats of dark nail polish, use care not to touch the plastic LED gizzy-goo. Let it dry well...Push the LEDs back in thier holders.

Bought with some knowledge, both BGMicro & All Electronics are VG sources of fans.

Not the cheapest but http://www.buyextras.com/ is a fun place to shop. Many fans that are hard to find can be sourced here. They have a YS Tech in 92mm that is killer. Yes it is loud but I control my fans ;) They have fans for older VGA cards that are worth a look, if you have the need.

Sidewinder are excellent.

Im from the UK and Ive used them several times. Customer service is top notch and you dont get automated responses, its all human, even down to the typo's :p

I might get some DTB's from them to replace my Panaflo L1A's although I cant seem to get my machine any quieter :|
