Best place to buy cases

You goota look around and find a case you like. Then look some more to find who has it for the best price. No one place will be better then the next. Prices and deals fluzuate all the time.

Yup, once you have your short list, check the Hot Deals section here and some sites like Dealighted to find any good deals out there on it. If you're up to buying thru eBay, then a browse there may turn up a deal on occasion. And sometimes your local Craigslist listings may have something. Then there are always the price comparison sites like PriceGrabber, PriceWatch, etc. Always check Provantage and Amazon when shopping for Antec cases.

You have an over 2000 post count, so just by osmosis you ought to know by now which resellers are considered tops around here: Newegg, Directron, MWave, ZZF, SVC, Jab-tech, etc. All have exclusive deals and rebates from time to time, so it pays to check their sites out. As was said above, no one place always has the best deal on every model, so you do have to shop around if price is important to you.

I also usually have several cases in my FS/T thread which is linked in the sig of my posts. If you just want an excellent, inexpensive case, the Rosewill R5600 series has been at good special prices lately. Check my review here:
http://www.techimo.com/reviews under Cases and all the way at the bottom of the list. I currently like the 5605 version over the others. The Rosewill R6A series which I mention in the review is also almost always a good buy. But if you have (or expect to get) one of those 10.5" long vid cards, then the 5600 series is the one.

o damn, forgot about this thread...

Yeah, I know most e-tailers and craigslist and ebay and hotdeals and google shopping and all that, but I never figure I know it all.. so I was hoping someone had a place I didn't know of 😀

I buy my stuff from performance-pcs since they will mod it before shipping it out. Very useful since I rarely have the time to do stuff myself.

Sometimes your local Frys or Microcenter or whatever will put cases on sale. When you factor in shipping fees, it sometimes ends up being cheaper just to buy locally. And there's a much wider selection of cases and other enthusiast hardware at retail stores than there used to be.

I agree. Fry's is where I got my last case. And if you ever have a problem with it, you can easily return it.

Shipping is a killer if you buy a case online. I usually just recommend going to MicroCenter if you're lucky to have one close by.

depends on the case.

i personally like "odd" ones that frys doesnt carry.

Like a Mountain Mods case you'll never see at a BnM vendor.

Then theres the uber class Silverstones. Those will sometimes be hard to find.

Let's not forget that killer deal Best Buy is offering on the rebranded Lian Li cases for $50. Got mine 2 months ago and it is awesome.
