Best Place to buy a Combo?

I want to buy a Motherboard/CPU combo with the CPU and Heatsink already installed. Where is the best place considering price and a reliable vendor? Thanks.

Fry's electronics, if you have one nearby. I got my xp2000 combo with ecs board for $69.95, with 30 day return policy (15 on cpu). After that, you're on your own.

Don't know if they still do it these days, but Mwave.com used to offer motherboard+cpu bundles.

This is a good question cause I just recently tried to get a combo price on the CPU mobo I wanted from online so I sent emails and all the responses said we dont offer any combo deals due to we feel our prices refelect the lowest we can sell them to etc etc.

Frys does sell combo deals in there retail stores but its not always what you might want.

I second the Fry's recommendation. On Fridays in the ad they usually have two to four different combos to choose from. Be aware that with bare CPU's you will need a heat sink and fan, this will add to your price.

I third frys, very well priced stuff. You get the motherboard for free practically most of the time.

I don't know of anywhere that sells the mobo with the cpu and hsf pre-installed, unless it's a pre-built system.

I have looked at that site before they even test the system for you they sound good but just so you know your paying a hefty price from them.
