Best place to actually buy songs online?

I think I may actually start paying for music. Yes I know it is stupid but I'm starting to feel guilty about supporting terrorism, depriving artist of excessive money and drugs, copyright infringement, blah blah blah.

Where is the best place to buy songs?
Are there any little technicalities I need to be aware of ?


Lastly I had an idea a few years ago for a cd burning kiosk. I looked it up and there are tons of them. Do you think these will ever become mainstream? I mean walmart has their online music store it seems like thay would have a kiosk to burn your own CDs in the store for people without PCs, without broadband, and impulse buyers. I thought of making my own for fleamarkets but I imagine my payments to the Nazi...sorry..RIAA would be outrageous.

The FS threads on Anandtech are another good source. Place an ad in a local free paper - looking for xyz artist cd's - will pay 5$ an albulm. . . . ( I did this to get a good jazz collection ).

Secondhand shop. Local one has buttloads of discs for $3 or so, and I haven't gotten one yet that EAC can't read.

ahahaha I thought that you were being serious. Well then I retract the shut up... itunes is a good place to download music from what I hear... I download all the music I listen to for free first then if I like it I buy it. Why pay for crap that you aren't gonna like? Though I buy the cd's not the mp3's.
