best place/forum to trade nikon dslr lens/equipment?

Any suggestions on where I can get trade/sell a nikon 55-200mm VR lens for a 35mm lens or the sb400 flash?

Is fred miranda pretty much my best bet?

keh.com is a camera dealer/repair place. they have extensive used items for sale with a very well developed condition rating system.


nikonians.org is one of the largest nikon message boards and has a big buy/sell area.

FM's Buy & Sell has a membership fee, so you're going to have to pay at least $15 for a quarterly pass. If you're only going to sell/trade one time, it might not be worth it. I've had really good luck with Craigslist, being in a large metro area helps. If you're in SF, I'd assume you could get lots of offers. Just be ready to weed through emails from people offering you like half what you're asking.
