Even if you go to Staples online, they use vista print also.

lol... makes perfect sense now. I got a small order of cards from Staples (in-store) a few months ago and one side looks great, but the other side is fucking crooked! Very noticeable because of the photoshop template I gave them.

Next batch I do I'm going to a local shop. More expensive, but probably worth it.

well, instore, they still do it themselves....the good thing about instore, however, is that if you are disgusted, you can flat out reject it and tell them to do it again. Good Luck doing that with vistaprint. Seriously, in store the cards were $40 for 100 last time I went. If i am going to pay that price, they better look awesome and flawless.

sswingle - I don't have a problem with getting business cards online. That's not the part that concerns me. I said budget (aka cheap) cards. And cheap stuff rarely looks good. But hey, you might be like Gibson486 who thinks Vista Print cards are SO good he's doing his wedding invites on them. I can't think of a better endorsement.

I don't mind paying a premium - have a good source? I could walk to a local print shop but it's run by people who don't speak english and, yeah, I don't want to deal with revision after revision... other than that we're talking fedex/kinko/staples.

Only used Vistaprint once, and was not overly impressed with the quality of what we received... going to try gotprint.com next.

Did vista print touch you when you were a little kid? Really? Did they? I mean, I have met many wedding planners who say vista print does a good job with them. Even if you go to Staples online, they use vista print also. So, what exactly is the issue? Have you even bought stuff from them? What makes it look cheap?

It's pretty clear what caliber of quality we are dealing with here when you offer up Staples online as the next step up in quality. I can't tell if you are being facetious or if you actually can't imagine things getting any better.

LOL dude, you are pissed over nothing. I never said Vista Print was the best quality out there. You just come here insinuating that Vista Print can't give people quality work when all you probably seen was the stuff that people get that cost under $30 for 500 cards.

Actually no they don't. It took about a week to get them in from an "off-site" printing location. I didn't check both sides so it was really my fault, but I don't really care @ this point. I just won't go to them anymore for any print services.

LOL....I guess it depends on what you get. They have some same day prints. But dam, I can't believe they actually bother doing it offsite when you go B&M.
