Best Pizza Story EVER

Tonight I call up Gumby's Pizza and order a large 2 topping pizza. The pizza comes, and I take it back to my dorm and open it up...wrong pizza. I call them back up and they say they'll send out a new pizza asap. So everyone is like wooohoo a free pizza, and we start eating the first one. Then they call back and say they won't give me a free pizza, because they don't know for sure if I got the wrong pizza. I argue with them about how the customer should be right and if they want my business, send out the right pizza. They still refuse.

That's when I get an idea. I say, "ok fine. i want 2 more pizzas then, i'll pay". The guy comes, I take the pizzas, drop them, stomp on them and hand him a note that says "f-ck with your customers, and we'll f-ck with you" then I walk inside. As I'm walking away the guy yells "HEY..YOU JUST GOT KICKED OUT OF COLLEGE!" 30 minutes later 2 cops come in along with the pizza guy and we have a little discussion. The guy says it comes out of his own pocket and he just wants me to pay for it. Since the cops were there I say Ok fine, and I pay for it and take my crushed pizzas. I think I made my point anyway 🙂 The guy got delayed like an hour and all the other pizzas were ruined.

Hopefully that'll be the last time that pizza place tries to screw us over!
 
tip: don't piss off delivery drivers. yes if it arrives fycked up while in transit we pay for it. no we don't get paid if we're delivering a remade order. but the driver could have possibly had nothing to do with it, which should have been apparent if they felt the need to call you and refuse a new pie.

no you didn't make any 'point'...do you expect the place to be psychic and guess what was wrong with the pizza when all they have is a birth certificate-type tag for the pizza which should have the correct items list on it? maybe you should've asked them to come out and get the pizza and send you back the new one, at that point you can ask for a discount or refund. the first mistake was to start eating it.


sorry for the ranting, i just can't stand customers that pull sh1t like you do.

Drinking a bit much with your pizza were you? That poor guy, had absolutely nothing to do with it and you took it out on him, in a really rude and abusive way.

Let me get this straight: you paid for 3 pizzas, one of which wasn't the one with toppings you ordered and the other two were crushed which I assume (perhaps wrongly) you didn't eat?

You wanted a new pizza, but you ate the first one, then treat the guy like sh:t when he's just trying to do his job...Not even close to being anywhere near a good pizza story, let alone the best

I hope you , order from them again, and they leave you a surprise or two on or in your pizza. They wont forget about you.
 
i don't think he paid for the last 2. otherwise the delivery guy wouldn't have cared. it's not his ass that has to clean up the mess on the porch. 😀

From his story, it reads as if the cops made him pay for the two pies he crushed and initially didn't want to pay for. But then again, these are *cough* college kids *cough*. 😀
 
I know it can be annoying when your order is screwed up, but that's an extremely childish way to handle it. Too bad maturity isn't a requisite virtue to be accepted at your college.

You treat people like crap, you'll get it in return (you may even get a little on your next pizza).
 
oh that was pathetic, you ruined the grunt workers day and made him lose money to get back at the manager? you do deserve to be kicked out of college.
