Does anyone here use VNC-Virtual Network Computing ?

On the resnets it is really nice to be able to access your computer on campus. Its a really nice piece of software that is free and you don't have to install it.

Any other fans?

Awww yeah, that proggie rocks. But sometimes I have probs getting it to refrseh properly when I'm doing some browsing while connected to a remote comp. But overall, it kicks @$$! :D It's been a long time since I've actually used it though {g}

i used to use "remotely anywhere" but now i use terminal services (which is built into win2k server)...but i have to admit that i've also played with VNC and really like it...only problem is that you have to carry the viewer.exe around with you on a floppy, or post it on the 'net or something..but the program's cross-platform cababilities are very impressive.

nope, you dont need the viewer to use it, you can use vnc right through a web browser, just go to the hostname on port 5800.
