I don't mind the military using dogs, but it's inhuman to make the dog jump into the Gulf of Mexico. That is a stinking cesspool of a body of water.

Over the last two years, there has been an effort to rapidly increase the number IED detection dogs in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The military should have known the value of IED sniffing dogs, since Vietnam.
