Anyone got the motorola v600 or nokia 6600??

My contract is up and i can take the opportunity to get a new cell phone.

Now here are my options. Im not sure what would be cheaper but here we go.

Open new account under my name not my pops and get the
- $45.99 1000 minutes free nights and weekends
- $free after rebate nokia 6600
-$30/$50 acctivation

Or just got to tmobile under existing account
- $39.99 free nights and weekends
-$200 ar nokia 6600.

I mean what are some of my options here

Well.. I have the Nokia 6600 and T-Mobile Service in Iowa...

The phone is outstanding. While it is a little larger than most new models, the larger screen size more than makes up for it.

The S60 software that is available is also great. Ogg player and Agile messenger are a must. Bear in mind though that you cannot play MP3s with this phone. You'll have to convert to .ogg and use oggplayer.

With T-Mobile make sure you get the T-Zones plan and check out Howard forums on ways to use the 4.99 unlimited T-Zones to get full blown internet on your phone...

I use a BlueTrek G2 Bluetooth headset with my phone and love it. Handsfree rocks, sound quality is good for calls and ok for music.. I listen to songs on it while I walk across campus.

Hope this helps.

I've got the 6600 and love it, there is so much cool stuff you can do with that phone. You have to put some effort into to get the most out of it (as with everything...). It has a pretty powerful OS called Symbian, that can run many cool progs. And you can put a NES, Game boy, N gage emulator on it, which is cool to show off to your friends 🙂 But hey, if all you need is a phone to make calls with, get something cheaper.

Where di you get it?

Im wondering which is cheaper
With Amazon, I would pay $45 for service, $50 for activation and Nothing for the phone after rebate

With Tmobile i would pay $40 for the service, no activation (current member) and $200 for the phone

Same here.. Did mine through Amazon recently. Smooth as silk so far. Sent in rebate form a couple weeks ago..

One thing to note on the amazon rebate.. Mine anyway.. Can't be sent in until you can send in a copy of the 2nd months bill showing that the first month was paid in full...
