Huh?

I bet none of you would have considered buying a firewire hub if it werent pretending to be a dinosaur. Now that's good marketing

Strangely enough, I have use for one. Right now I have my Lexar firewire compact flash reader daisychained to my firewire hard drive. Unfortunately, when I turn off that hard drive, I can't access the compact flash reader. I suppose I can plug it into my front port (which is attached to the other rear port on my Firewire card), but I don't like having cables hanging out all over the place on the front of my desk. (I plug it in and take it out a lot because it's used with my laptop too, so I don't want to have to plug it into the back of the desktop all the time.) Unfortunately, most Firewire hubs look like crap and cost a lot.
If it's reasonably priced, a
Godzilla hub would do quite nicely.
