I'm using the Cat 6.8's and they seem to be doing well enough, but as this is my first new driver install since upgrading to Core2, I'm curious, what is the general sense of these? Best overall yet performance-wise? I play BF2 and Oblivion

stick with the 6.8s. they were some huge performance upgrades in those drivers and they are running smooth as butter for me too

6.8 (chuck version too) are good for single card
but they suck for crossfire oblivion gaming

6.6 chuck are the best for me.

I use the 6.6 warcats but...am a little concerned that they may rush drivers out. It seems like every driver release has a patch or some issue -- like 6.6 warcats didn't properly implement the chuch patch so a patch had to be issues. Same story with 6.7. I tested it -- it doesn't work but they don't know that...or that time that the drivers had a virus in them.

Oh well, they work nice.

I don't think they reall "rush" drivers out. It takes a week or sometimes more to release a Warcat driver. The Nvidia XTreme-G drivers are normally out in a few days (nvidia seems to be very popular over there :))

However I think they skipped beta testing on 6.7 and 6.8. Not sure why though.

At least they release patches for the bad stuff.
