Best PDA suggestion.

Hi all,
I am looking at buying a PDA and am leaning toward the Handspring Visor Deluxe (8mb). Any opinions? I want to balance value with performance but don't need the absolute cutting edge. I will be synching my Outlook contacts, calendar, etc. and maybe not much else.
Tia for any info.

All of the Handspring models are nice.

Stay away from the Palm M100/M105, as those are junk (small screen, flimsy case).

The other low-end model you should look at is the Sony Clie. It should be about the same price as the Visor Deluxe. The unit is sleeker and lighter than the Visor, but the screen is slightly smaller.

It sounds like the Handspring Visor Deluxe is perfect for your basic needs, it gives you the most bang for your buck. Just make sure to order it from Staples.com add another $0.02 to your order use their $40 off $200 coupon - free shipping = $160 shipped. I got mine for $110 back when Handspring was offering a $50 rebate. Also check the Hot Deals forum here search for Palm or Handspring and you may find some cheaper deals. I saw Compaq iPaq's on uBid for $159 (again search Hot Deals forum for iPaq).
