Best PCIe GPU for under $250 shipped?

Hi,

What is the best GPU out there for under $250 shipped?

I am building a system for a friend and already have a 6600GT on order for $173 shipped, but the order was delayed and and I am thinking of canceling it.

Now, there are a few dollars left in the budget, and I think that I could push for a slightly better vid card.

Any recommendations...

Your PCIe choices are a bit limited with a $250 max budget..

6600GT - $180

Probably a 6600 GT is the best you can get on that budget. X800 XL's are still running between $300 - $370.

X800XLs are between 270 and 300. Unless you go buy like the fanless Gigabytes or something

If the budget is really strict, then I agree that 6600gt is your best bet.
