Best PCI Videocard?

Accidently hit enter.

But what is the best one or two PCI videocards? Not PCI-E, just PCI. I don't need a lecture on why PCI isn't good, I know. Will be used for games.

I really don't know if this is possible. I think PCI with 3D cards went out with the TNT2 or 3dfx Voodoo3 onboard SLI dealies.

eBay isn't much of an option for me. Just looking for the best PCI video card I can get on Newegg, Zipzoom, etc.

Radeon 7500? I think thats the best you can get, or probably a Voodoo 5500 if they made those in PCI, im not entirely sure though.

The only "games" a PCI-only system is able to play are 2D. Chess, Mah-jongg, Poker, Solitaire, Vegas Slots, etc. The PCI bus is too slow for real gaming (at least, more recent than about 2002). As bad as plain PCI is, it makes no sense to look for any video card costing more than $20- $30, like an FX 5200, or a Radeon 9200.

I know plenty of people that can game on PCI only systems. 800x600 resolution on low graphics settings and you get a decent FPS rating.

If you wanna play Glide games, go with the dual-GPU Voodoo 5500...this is where eBay needs to be an option. And if you want to use it later for a dual or tri-monitor system, it's ready and compatible with just about any other videocard (my Voodoo worked with nVidia and Matrox...would never verify with ATI)
