best PCI video card

what do you guys think would be the best PCI video card? I'm thinking about getting Soyo's LI-7000 for a LAN party computer and it has a onboard Intel 810 so anything else would be better. I only have about a $150 budget. I was thinking of getting a Voodoo but I can't find them for sale anymore.

Humm, I didnt know there still were any people that cared about PCI video cards : /. Good luck, there are like no good ones, except for a gay Voodoo2. Or maybe voodoo3 has one? Not sure. But thats about it. PCI = A55

There are pci versions of all the voodoo cards, but the V4 and V5 are a bit pricier than the agp versions i think

if you want decent pci cards you need a voodoo board. Nvidia and Ati cards wont run very well on a pci bus(slow and probably buggy, unstable)

Check Anandtech's price report on video cards. The VooDoo 5500 PCI is now in your price range. So are all the lower numbers.

they are making the radeon in a PCI version for macs, so maybe if that comes out for PC. your best bet would probably be a PCI creative labs geforce2 mx if you can find one
