Hello

I'm currently running an Nvidio TNT2 M64 32meg AGP card at 1600x1200 on a 21-inch monitor. I have bought a dual server mobo with no AGP slot and I am wondering what is the best PCI card to use. I don't play any games and simply want a card with very good image quality and 2D speed. How much memory would I need for 1600x1200 at 24-bit colour? I don't want to spend a lot of money, so I was looking at older Matrox cards on eBay, I do use Lightwave a lot, although I have another machine with an Nvidia Quadro2 32meg AGP card that I can use for this, although it would be nice to be able to use both machines for Lightwave work, so can anyone recommend a card that will meet my above requirements and offer good OpenGL performance? There are lots of older Intergraph cards and Diamond Fire GL cards such as the GL3000 on eBay, can anyone offer any adivce or recommendations?

ATI and Matrox have been tied for years on best 2D image long before ATI challenged Nvidia for 3D. Based on the PCI requirement I'd go Matrox as well.
