I am rather limited for space in my room, and would like to combine my future monitor purchase with the potential HDTV purchase. I want wide screen for DVDs and xbox (yes, I KNOW that PC games are superior, but sometimes I just like to veg out on my xbox, and I have access to a near-unlimited supply of xbox games). Also, I have digital cable, which I'd like to set up through the PC as well.
The thing is, I'm not sure what's the best route to take. Should I be looking at PC monitors and try to find a video card which will accept HDTV inputs (maybe one of the ATI all-in-wonder cards?), or should I be looking for a HDTV which I can use with my PC? Does anyone have any advice? I'm probably looking at a ~$2500 budget max.
