I think squares enix OST is amazing.... not many game companies including EA can match them.

Ive always liked Prey. "Dont Fear The Reaper" was perfect at the beginning of the game. Cant say much for the rest of the game since that is the only song that stood out.

Battlefield Vietnam had an awesome soundtrack. Nothing beat charging into battle with Surfin' Bird playing on the tank speaker.

I saw Diablo 2 mentioned a few times, but I thought Diablo 1 was just as good... mainly because the music fit the theme so perfectly. Diablo 3 is also very good because they kept it true to the previous 2 iterations.

Kinda like the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack running circles on the top## music charts

well, that would be a soundtrack (subject of thread), instead of score (something like Skyrim).

I'd include everything in one giant catch-all for videogames, but score is still more interesting, imo. I loved Vice City and San Andreas, but I can't think of a score or soundtrack that tops Skyrim (...but I guess that technically, much of those pieces were original to Morrowind?)
