Best PATA IDE Calbes?

I'm wondering if generic vs brand name etc matters in this case. I need a bunch of good ATA 133 cables for HDDs and also for DVD-RW drives.

I've read that rounded cables produce more errors, and either way I don't care about rounded cables much. My main rig will be switching to all SATA anyway shortly, the PATA disks are all for my storage server (NAS).

Any input would be great.

cut ribbon cables, if you can find them. There basically ribbons that have been cut in sections. A Bit different then round cables.

I personally like the OEM ribbon cables because you can Fold them and tuck them away.

hehe... thats why i said IF YOU CAN FIND THEM. :p

So far ive only seen them come with the INTEL BAD AXE boards also shuttles :p . The last store that used to carry is now closed.
