I'd like it to:

Generate random strong passwords,
Encrypt the passwords extremely securely,
Not let the user read the passwords after they have been "unlocked"
Time out when the PC is not in use

basically, i want the user to be able to use the password but not see it

Are you using the passwords for the web? Roboform might be the right solution for you.

KeePass works nicely for me. Not sure about preventing the user from reading the password.. since it can typically be cut and pasted into another window.

One more vote for KeePass, been using it for quite some time now, very impressed.

The problem with these password managers are that you can reveal the passwords after you unlock the database. I'm looking for something like Citrix MetaFrame, that software is awesome because you actually tell it what field the username is and what field the password is and then it will automatically do the rest.

Basically, I'd like to allow users to log in to sites, applications, etc... by knowing the main password for the PC but not "take the passwords home" after they see the database.

I was reading up on the web and apparently most of the Fortune 500 companies and almost all of Fortune 100 companies are customers of Citrix.

Haha, now if I could find something like this that isn't on an enterprise level with an enterprise price tag.

If you can copy a password the clipboard, boom there it is on your thumb drive, email, notepad, whatever... I want complete transparency!
