I want to build a new Server that will be serving 60 to 100 users.
I'm looking for something stable to run a P4 1.6A (they are cheap :) with crucial DDR Memory)

The server will act as:
Domain Controller
App server (NetShield, ePolicy, etc)
File Server (hooked up on a external array of 8-10 x 50Gig SCSI HD, RAID 5 with a Adaptec 2100S)
With a Dual Port NIC (we don't have gigabyte yet :( )

any one has a recommendation
Intel Motherboard or should I go for the Gigabyte P4 Titan DDR (GA-8IRXP) Anand Editors Choice Gold Award (Dec. 2001)?

For a server you want stability rather than overclocking features. Go for either an Intel board designed specifically for servers, like this one , or a server board from SuperMicro like this one . Remember, you shouldn't care about features devoted to a single user--like audio, video, USB, etc. Your main concerns should be stability, reliability, network throughput and the type of disk connectivity you need to use (IDE, SCSI, RAID, JBOD, etc.)

I second the Intel recommendation; they've made very stable server motherboards in my experience. One of them (STL2, IIRC) has been running for over a year (it runs FreeBSD), and the others are newer but work just as nicely.
