That's too bad. I got my kids each a Panasonic LZ-8 last X-mas, and I was surprised at just how well it's pictures come out, even when taken by a complete novice. It has a nice size and is able to zoom fairly well for a camera its size. Maybe its a comment on my ineptitude at taking pictures, or maybe it's just that the LZ-8 has more advancements, but my kids are taking better pictures with their LZ-8's than I do with my older Panny FZ-5 superzoom.
