I am getting the ABIT NF7-S, after a lot of research and contemplation, and I need to a good Athlon XP Tbred. I have Mushkin PC3000 memory, not the very best available, but should be pretty decent for overclocking. Which Tbred will give me the best overclocking results at this point? I've heard 2100+ are good, and something about AIUHB 0250 or 0302? Or is there another Tbred that gives even better results? I am new the Tbreds, so please show me the way. Also, what results can I expect?

Right now, and Foxconn 400w PS. But I am looking to pickup a Antec True430 PS. When you say rev b, how do I know it is a rev b? Like the 2100+ they sell at excaliberpc.com, it has that "AIUHB 0250 or 0302". Are those rev b's?

Yes thats a Tbred B, but why not buy from a trusted company like Newegg where u can also add a 1-year warranty for $5? All I see is one review of the company and thats from 3 days ago.

AIUHB is indeed revision B.

0250 is Year 2002 Week 50
0302 is Year 2003 Week 02
etc, etc :p

I haven't had the AIUHB stepping, maybe someone who has can tell you what is the potential of that particular chip.
The week also affects the potential of the chip also, some are better, some worse.

Good luck :)

Thanks....

it's funny how they are selling guarantee weeks, which means they must have good overclocking potential, or else why state which week the chips are from. Anyone want to chime in on this, will one overclock better than the other?

Oh by the way, excaliberpc is pretty good. I had to order a part for an ABIT motherboard (they sell ABIT refurb mobos and parts), and they were great. Receive e-mail with tracking number, and since they are in the Bay Area, I received my package in two days. Can't complain.

from reading up on various boards,it seems like the following is taking place

week248-best o/c ability
week249&250- almost as good
week301- less then 249&250 in most cases, some very poor reports.
week302- between 249&250 and 248.

of course, this really doesnt mean much,as it seems you can pick up 2 cpus from the same week, and still get varying results.
only really probably means much if your trying to do extreme overclocking with watercooled or better systems.
