Best OS to run Distributed Computing proggies?

What OS should I run on this thing to stick it on a distributed computing project? I *might* be able to get another 64 on it, but it's rather doubtful. It's an old gateway I have sitting around and previous attempts to get a 64mb stick from a near identical gateway to work on it have been fruitless.

I've got a Mandrake box already, and managed to muck through getting SETI@home working on it with a little help from a friend. However it's minimum RAM is 256. Although it might well work anyway.

After digging through Wiki, I think I'll give Puppy Linux a go. It's desgined to be stupidly small and work on really basic systems. Hopefully that will work out pretty well. And if it does on this one, I might switch my other Linux box over to it, because it's crawling pretty well with Mandrake.
 
Doesn't much matter really. Whatever you are used to and what the framework you're using will run on.
 
A minimal install of debian should suit you just fine. Really, you should just avoid X and you'll be absolutely fine. SSH makes headless administration so easy.
